SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

To ensure your work aligns with our criteria, please review the descriptions of our imprints. If your work meets the criteria, follow the instructions below to submit your proposal. Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, it is not possible to provide a personal response to each individual.

However, we carefully consider every submission and will contact you if your work is relevant to our publishing program. If you haven't heard back from us within eight weeks, please understand that we do not consider your work suitable for our publishing house.

While we would love to respond to everyone personally, it is unfortunately not feasible. Thank you for your interest in Inner Traditions and Bear & Company. We wish you the best of luck with your work.

To streamline the review process for authors and our editorial staff, we have established a set of requirements for submitting work. When presenting a proposal, please include the following:

• a) A short synopsis of the book or card deck (limited to two pages). Explain how your manuscript contributes to its field and highlight its unique aspects. b) Clearly define your target audience for the book or card deck.
• c) Provide a brief biography, emphasizing any specific qualifications related to the subject matter.

2. Include a table of contents, introduction, and sample chapter(s). You do not need to submit a complete manuscript unless specifically requested. Proposals containing the aforementioned materials are reviewed more promptly than unsolicited lengthy manuscripts.

3. If submitting a proposal for a card deck, please include sample illustrations.
